Boss FV-500H, High Impedance is a high-impedance, mono volume pedal for use directly after an electric guitar and before effects pedals. The Boss FV-500H is the high impedance version (a low impedance version is available) and is intended for use at the beginning of a pedal chain, or simply between a guitar and an amp. The FV-500H offers an output for a tuner, so that even if the volume is down, the signal will bypass only into the tuner.
